This section involves filling
out a web form that will ask some questions about you, your
firm, and your credentials.
If you haven't done so already, you may want to quickly
review the FAQ
(Frequently Asked Questions) here.
After
reviewing the FAQ, please have the following information
ready:
(including office phone, fax
numbers, website address, email, etc.)
Licensing Data (type of appraisal license, license
number, license expiration date, etc.)
Appraisal Organizations/Designations (organization
and contact names, contact phone, and
designation)
E & O/Liability/Malpractice Insurance (including
company name, policy number, agent contact data, effective
date, etc.)
Bank References (list the
financial institutions for whom you have performed work
including name and contact data)
Once you have gathered the above information and are ready
to proceed, click on the button below and you will be taken to
the application form.
Enter your data and submit it.
The page will be automatically checked for missing data. If
there is any data that you need to submit, you will be asked
to return to the form and enter it. Once all the data is
entered, your submission will be written into the database and
you'll be directed to the payments page.
The
payments page will essentially ask you how you wish to pay for
your membership and give you an area to fill out your payment
information. You will then fax this information to
us.
Please note: In addition to paying by credit
card we offer you the option of paying by
check.
Completing and submitting the application form
will allow us to make an approval decision regarding your
affiliate Membership.
Inclusion Into the NRBA
Database
This is the second phase of the Membership
process. Upon approval (generally within 5 - 8 days of
receiving the application and fax), you will receive an
approval notification Email from us. This notification will
indicate that your data has been entered into the NRBA
Database.
The approval notification Email will
contain a link to the Members Only section of the NRBA
site. There you'll be able to update your information as well
as add "marketing" type biographical comments and comments on
your geograhical service areas.
