8/12/01 4th Annual Las Vegas
Bash
The
NRBA Party has continually grown and is now easily considered the
best event in the industry each year.
This was our 4th
year in a row for hosting our Las Vegas “Bash” during the CMBA Loan
Servicing Conference.....More photos and info from the
party

3/28/01 NRBA Banker Appreciation Party during
the REOMAC conference in Palm Springs. The main goal of the NRBA is to continually build name
recognition for our members, and in doing so to drive more REO
listings to each and every one of them.
To
that end – we spend a great deal of money during the REOMAC
Education conference in March of each year. This year was no
exception and in fact we went “all out” to let everyone know who we
are...Check
out more info and a lot more photos

8/28/00 3rd Annual Las Vegas Blast - a huge success
We did it again! It’s all about keeping the clients happy,
and we at the NRBA never let them down.Every August, the CMBA
Mortgage Servicing Conference is held here in Las Vegas. As all
good REO Brokers know, REO is part of mortgage servicing; hence, all
of the major players in the industry are here in town that week. (Continued Click Here)
8/25/00 Website
The NRBA website is nearly complete and we
are in the final testing phase. You’ll notice that the broker
database has some funny names in it. These are for testing
purposes and we hope to have the database fully loaded and
functioning by months end.
The members forum is up and
running so feel free to drop in and put in your 2 cents worth
that’s what it’s there for.
9/99 2nd Annual NRBA Trap-shoot
Party a/k/a “Guns, Ammo & Alcohol II
Yes we did it again, and everyone had
a fantastic time. Great turnout this year 36 people came for
the fun. More importantly we had some real heavy hitters from
the REO/Bank side present. Only 6 of us there were brokers, so
we all made some great contacts and picked up a lot of new
business. The party was on the 23rd of August and I had my
first new listing from a new client on the 25th is this a
great country or what?….
We had representatives there
from Countrywide, Homesteps, U.S.S., CB Asset, Eastern
Savings, Interland, and several more.
Because this page
is available to the public, we’ll be sending out the details
and the names and contact info to the NRBA members via private
e-mail. This way everyone can follow up and get on these
clients vendor lists ASAP. There is a ton of business to be
had.
Special Thanks go out to NRBA Members: Phil
Borroda, Scott Lawrence, and Gary Zayas for kicking in to pay
for the party. I’m sure it will be remembered and appreciated
by everyone there.
One last note just to let you know
how great a time it truly was - they were still singing on the
bus on the way back to the hotel after the party!
9/99 CMBA Conference
The CMBA Servicing Conference was great
this year. For those of you who don’t know, REO is part of
servicing and this is one of the best places to meet
prospective clients. They had over 450 people this year. The
NRBA members who came all made some great contacts and picked
up some new accounts.
The Golf Tournament was a lot of
Fun. The NRBA sponsored the “longest drive competition” and we
gave away a beautiful Callaway Hawkeye Driver. Congratulations
to our winner: Mark Bosco of Option One Mortgage - he nailed
it nearly 370 yards.
Really great turnout this year
we’ll be updating the client database and sending out all of
the details & contact info for follow up via private
e-mail.
7/99 REOMAC
Just
a quick note “REOMAC” Real Estate Owned Managers Association
of California, is going national this year. These are some of
the people that actually control and assign REO Listings to
the brokers. For those of you who haven’t joined - now would
be a good time. They are really coming on strong.
Get
in touch with us to request a copy of the application, for
those of you who don’t yet have a sponsor to get you in - let
us know and we’ll make some calls and take care of it for
you.
As soon as we get the information for the next
REOMAC conference, we’ll be sending it out to you. We strongly
urge all NRBA members to attend.
