Our NRBA members are the Top Real Estate Professionals when it comes to helping homeowners who are in distress or facing foreclosure. In addition to their years of specialized and local experience working directly with lenders, most of our NRBA members have completed the HUD Housing Counselor Training program and passed the exam. Our NRBA members have superior skills, training, and far more experience in helping homeowners who are under duress.

In order to be a Certified HUD Housing Counselor, a Real Estate Professional must be directly employed by a non-profit organization. While most NRBA members have the training and have passed the required exam they are not actually Certified as they are not employed by a non-profit organization. Our NRBA members will, however, still offer you a free consultation and help answer any questions you may have.

Both NRBA members and actual Certified HUD Housing Counselors are available to help you, and we encourage any homeowner who is behind on their mortgage or facing foreclosure to contact one or both types immediately, as delaying will usually only make matters worse.
